Mike Arens is a Research Analyst in Mesirow Equity Management. In his role, his primary focus is to provide support for the research effort for the basic materials and REIT sectors for the small cap and small-mid cap equity strategies. 

Prior to joining Mesirow in 2023, Mike held the position of Equity Research Associate at William Blair focusing on the medical technology sector. Prior to that role, Mike gained valuable experience as a Senior Advisory Analyst at Crowe. Mike earned his Bachelors of Science in Finance from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He is a CFA® Charterholder and member of the CFA Society of Chicago.
