As a firm, and as individuals, Mesirow stands with the Jewish American community in the face of a rising wave of hateful rhetoric and violent attacks.

We reiterate our stance that bigotry – whether overt, cloaked in nationalism or masked in claims of political debate – is intolerable and inconsistent with our nation’s values and those of our firm.

Through the work of our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Council and our engaged employees, we will continue to advance DEI across our workforce, our suppliers and our industry.

This established, ongoing work is strengthened by our partnerships with organizations that fight all forms of hate and seek to eliminate racism, including the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum (USHMM), the Anti-Defamation League, Chicago United and YWCA. It is through these collaborative community groups that we are conversing, learning and engaging. 

We share the vision of the USHMM that antisemitism and unchecked hate can be countered through education, and we urge our community to seek out the educational resources offered by the Museum.
