Tom Galuhn is a Senior Advisor for Mesirow's Private Equity team. He leads the co-investment activity, is a member of the Private Equity Investment Committee and is involved in all aspects of the private equity investment process. 

Tom has more than 30 years of private equity investing experience. Prior to joining Mesirow in 1987, he was a Principal in the corporate finance group of a regional investment banking firm. Before that, he served for 10 years in various management capacities with First Chicago Investment Advisors where, as a member of the investment team, he was responsible for the development and management of the firm’s Institutional Venture Capital Fund.

Tom is actively involved with several companies in various capacities. He is a board observer for Compuware and serves on fund advisory committees for Lightspeed Venture Partners, Thoma Bravo, LLC and TSG Consumer Partners.

Tom earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago.
