Tim Joyce is Co-Chief Investment Officer of Mesirow Alternative Credit, a role which involves him in all aspects of the team's investment process. Tim is a voting member of the business’ Investment Committee. 

Prior to joining Mesirow, Tim served as the Co-President of Bastion Management, which became part of Mesirow in December 2024. In that role, Tim led the Firm’s Business Development initiatives, co-headed Portfolio Monitoring, and was a member of the Investment Committee. Before joining Bastion, Tim was the Global Head of the Corporate Bank at Credit Suisse where he acted as chair of the Corporate Bank Investment Committee. His responsibilities included managing the Enterprise Valuation, Corporate Lending and Portfolio Management groups and frequently interacted with senior management on several of Credit Suisse’s risk and advisory committees. Over his career, Tim has been on all sides of the credit business: from trading to investing, structuring, risk managing, and originating - and at the intersection of cash and synthetic products. 

Tim holds a BSBA in Finance from Georgetown University.
