Spencer Mishelow is a Director in Mesirow Public Finance. He focuses on expanding the firm’s presence throughout the Midwest by financing projects for public and private sector clients, as well as financing public-private partnership (P3) transactions. In addition, he serves as head of the group’s Indiana public finance efforts. 

Prior to joining Mesirow in 2016, Spencer worked at City Securities Corporation, where he focused on providing Investment Banking and Analytical Services to various types of public entities, including but not limited to cities, schools, towns, redevelopment districts, municipal utility entities and colleges/universities. Before that, he worked for the City of Bloomington, Indiana, in the Department of Economic and Sustainable Development as well as the Office of the Mayor.

Spencer earned a Public Financial Management degree from Indiana University. He holds the FINRA Series 7, 52 and 63 licenses.
