Nicholas Paidas is Director of Capital Markets and Sourcing for Mesirow Alternative Credit.

Prior to joining Mesirow, he spent six years at Yieldstreet, where he served as Head of Originations and later as Director of Private Credit. In these roles, he was responsible for originating and managing the firm’s commercial and consumer asset investment strategy and played a key role in growing the firm’s investment syndications from $600 million to $6.5 billion to its retail investors. Before that, Nicholas was a Director on the Asset Sales desk at Mission Capital, where he spent two years advising on alternative asset sales. Earlier in his career, he spent five years at BCMG as a Vice President, focusing on the property tax lien industry. 

Nicholas holds a B.S. from Fairfield University with a double major in Accounting and Finance.
