John Nawrocki is a Vice President in the Public Finance group at Mesirow, providing quantitative analyses, transaction structuring and execution support, and market insights to clients nationwide, including school districts, cities, states, and other municipal issuers.

Since joining Mesirow in 2019, John has assisted on over $10 billion worth of financings for issuers across the country. Prior to joining the firm, he worked as a Public Finance Analyst at Oppenheimer & Co., Inc. His experience spans both traditional GO offerings in addition to more nuanced tax increment financings, P3 transactions, and complex debt restructurings.

In addition to his work with Mesirow, John is active in his support of the community, including volunteer work with the Food Bank of the Rockies and fundraising activities for Special Olympics Colorado. He also leverages his financial expertise to assist local community organizations.

John earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Northwestern University and holds Series 50, 52, 53, and 63 FINRA licenses.
