Muj Ali is a Senior Managing Director on Mesirow's Capital Formation and Currency Solutions team and is based in Hong Kong. He leads the team responsible for marketing and distribution of all of Mesirow investment capabilities to institutional investors and investment consultants across the Asia Pacific region. Preceding this role, Muj was Head of the Asia Pacific Client Relationship Team for Mesirow Advanced Strategies, Inc.

Prior to joining Mesirow in 2011, he served in various leadership positions at Morgan Stanley Investment Management in Hong Kong. Before that, Muj served as Vice President of Global Distribution, Product Development and Marketing at Credit Suisse in Hong Kong, Seoul and New York. In addition, he served as Vice President of Institutional Business Development at AIG Life and AIG Investments in New York, and started his career at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.

Muj earned a Bachelor of Science in economics and engineering from Vassar College and a Master of Business Administration from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. In addition, he is a CFA® charterholder.
