Matt Sherwood is a Senior Managing Director in Mesirow Institutional Sales and Trading. He focuses on Municipal Funding, specifically Tender Option Bond (TOB) transactions and other municipal funding products.

Matt has more than 15 years of financial services experience and more than nine years of municipals experience. Prior to joining Mesirow in 2014, he worked at Morgan Stanley in the municipal funding and liquidity business, where he supported a remarketing and a liquidity book.

Matt has been an active volunteer firefighter with the Plandome Fire Department in New York for more than 19 years.

Matt earned a Bachelor of business administration from Loyola University in Maryland. He holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.
