Jamie Wilson is a Director in Public Finance at Mesirow, specializing in supporting Texas school districts with strategic planning, bond issuance, advocacy, and growth management. He helps shape the strategy and growth of Mesirow’s Texas School District Finance Team.

Jamie joined Mesirow in August 2024 after a 34-year career in public education, including 24 years as a school administrator. He has extensive experience in school finance and debt management, having issued over $2 billion in bond authorizations with strong community support.

He has held statewide leadership roles in organizations such as the Texas Association of School Administrators, the Fast Growth Schools Coalition, and the Texas School Alliance. Jamie has received numerous awards, including Regional Superintendent of the Year, Tech Savvy Superintendent of the Year and Communication Trailblazer.

Active in his community, Jamie serves as Chairman of the Children’s Advocacy Center for North Texas, which is focused on bringing hope and healing to children victimized by abuse and as a board member for KERA and Pedi Place.
He earned Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral degrees from the University of North Texas and holds FINRA Series 52, 63, and SIE licenses.
