David Egan is Senior Managing Director and Head of Mesirow Human Resources. He is responsible for HR strategy including talent management, human capital development, HR advisory and employee engagement initiatives across the firm. David works closely with Mesirow business leaders on strategic talent management and organizational effectiveness.

David has more than 15 years of experience in global human resource management. Prior to joining Mesirow in 2011, he worked in HR with Bank of America and Quintain Estates and Development Plc. in London, England.

David is proud to serve as a mentor in the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Chicago program.

David earned a dual degree in accounting and human resource management from the National College of Ireland, Dublin. He earned his Master of Business Administration from DePaul University with a concentration in strategic human resource management. He has also obtained his Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR) certifications and completed the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute’s investment foundations program.
