Dan Nyhan is a Managing Director in Mesirow Sale-Leaseback Capital. In this capacity, he participates in the origination/disposition of properties and management of its day-to-day operations.  As Co-Head of Mesirow Realty Bridge Equity, he is responsible for leading Mesirow’s Bridge Equity business and participates in all aspects of the investment process, including much of its origination and underwriting, and is a member of its Investment Committee.

Prior to joining Mesirow in 2015, Dan spent nine years at Nuveen Asset Management, most recently as an Assistant Vice President.  He has written numerous articles and white papers and frequently speaks at industry conferences.

Dan earned a Bachelor of Science from Miami University in Ohio and a Master of Business Administration from University of Chicago Booth School of Business and is a member of the University of Chicago Booth School of Business Real Estate Alumni Group. He holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses.
