Dan J. Personette is a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager in Mesirow Strategic Fixed Income. He is responsible for portfolio management across several mandates as well as portfolio construction and trade implementation. Dan is responsible for overseeing rates, global macro and mortgage-backed sectors.

Dan has more than 20 years of experience in active portfolio management, trading and multi-asset allocation within fixed income. Prior to joining Mesirow, he served as Senior Portfolio Manager and Director of Interest Rate Strategy at Northern Trust Asset Management. 

Dan earned a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Finance from Ball State University and a Master of Business Administration, from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. In addition, he is a Chartered Financial Analyst® charterholder and a member of the CFA Society of Chicago.
