Dan Barlow is a Director in Mesirow Public Finance. He serves in a multifunctional role by providing quantitative analysis and execution support for municipal clients.

Dan has over 15 years of experience in public finance. Prior to joining Mesirow in 2011, he worked at H. J. Umbaugh & Associates, where he was an Independent Finance Advisor to state and local governments. He has participated in the structuring and issuance of municipal bonds and debt instruments for numerous local government issuers in the Midwest.

Dan has been involved in the successful execution of hundreds of transactions for municipalities, special districts, K-12 and higher-ed clients in the Midwest and along the East Coast. 

Dan earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Andrews University  with a major in Finance and a minor in Mathematics. He holds FINRA Series 7, 50, 52 and 63 licenses.
