Alex Buchler is a Managing Director in Mesirow Institutional Sales & Trading. He focuses on a broad range of fixed income securities.

Alex has over 30 years of experience in fixed income sales, covering both large and middle-market sized accounts. Prior to joining Mesirow in 2024, he worked at InspereX (formerly 280 Securities), where he was instrumental in building their cloud-based platform. He also held various sales positions at Baird and RBC.

Alex has a B.S. in Economics from the University of Minnesota and an M.B.A. from The University of San Francisco (graduated Beta Gamma Sigma). He holds FINRA Series 24, 7, and 63 licenses.
